Entain Australia is home to Ladbrokes and Neds, Australia's number 1 sports betting and gaming entertainment. With Entain now branching into the venues space, as senior designer I have had the opportunity to introduce and contribute innovative ideas to the global brand.

Jack of All Trades

In addition to creating print and static digital assets for Ladbrokes, we were also responsible for designing Google web banners and venue-specific videos on a daily basis using both Google Web Designer and Adobe After Effects.

Creating the most out of unlicensed imagery.

One of our biggest challenges of working in a sporting industry is having to work with unlicensed player imagery. In order to make the most of these resources, we implemented a strategy of editing the imagery to match our promotional offers whenever possible. By creatively adapting the imagery to align with the messaging and themes of our campaigns, we were able to effectively communicate our message to our target audience while staying within our legal boundaries. Ultimately, this approach allowed us to leverage non-licensed imagery to its fullest potential, achieving our marketing objectives while staying compliant with legal requirements.

Brand Refresh-red

For the Ladbrokes brand refresh, the brand team assigned us with one job: to make the brand more fun.

While the iconic red remains a core element, I proposed incorporating a gradient backdrop that seamlessly blends the Ladbrokes Red with a hint of raspberry and yellow hues for a playful touch. Additionally, I suggested integrating the Ladbrokes L icon with a neon glow to further strengthen the brand icon identity, also I thought it could be a captivating element for video.

With a larger, more dynamic font family coupled with fresh and engaging imagery and layouts, this design beckons our audience to dive in. Overall, I am exceptionally proud of this design and delighted to have left my fingerprint on such an iconic brand.
